I looked through the forum and couldn't find this topic so i appoligize if it's already here. I'm wanting to put a center console from an 04-07 grand prix in my 84 cutlass and am wondering if anybody has done a build thread on the how to's? I honestly don't know where to start and or how to do this, but i've seen some pics on here of an elky that used the same console and did this and thought it looked great.... any help would be great. I have an 84 cutlass brougham with a biuck 3.8L V6 in it with the gear shift on the column obviously... Thx in advance.

youll need the shifter, shifter cable, new steering column, the arm on the transmission that has an extension for the cable to hook to, oh and all the bracketry for the shifter whos spotwelds will have to be drilled out of an existing floor shift car unless you buy a brand new set from gbodyparts.com. those are all the parts i use to do my conversions, the last 2 cars of mine have had it done.

may i also add that the shifter you get should correspond with the trans you have, if its a 3spd youll need the 3spd shifter, if its an O/D youll need the 4 speed shifter. although in my experience, i use my 3spd shifter on my o/d trans without any problems besides going into 1st gear alone.
