Hello everyone new guy here! Recently picked up a 79 Malibu, looking to make a street/strip/money pit out of it. I am new to gbodies and figured I would join the forum and see what I can learn about them. Should be a fun car really looking forward to it.

My neighbor really like the wheels and wanted them on his Nova so I ended up selling those last week. I had a buyer for the 350 that was in it so my dad and I got the motor out earlier today. Here comes the spending! I have a small block at a local machine shop being checked out, came out of a friends Monte Carlo. Looking to get wheels for it as soon as I can, leaning toward Weld rts, but totally open for opinions. I'd like to run a 15x8 rear and fit a 275/60/15 tire. Looking forward to being on the site!

That looks like a sinister looking Malibu. Looks like an '80 -'81 grille and header panel. It's hard to tell in the picture, also being painted black.

I'm new too but welcome. It is a '80 header panel and grille but I like it helps to that sinister look 😀
