Console help

I have a dash built with the ash tray part on but tray ash tray removed will it work on a center console ...would it interfere with the console

I appreciate it very much it's tjat driving a ways to get this dash that is pretty decent with minimal repair unlike mine has chunks missing and wanted to make sure it would fit being it was made with the ash tray and mine having the floor shifter...

If you are talking about the track that is mounted under the dash that holds the ashtray so it slides in and out, then that all unscrews from the bottom of the dash. I removed that from both my Monte and Regal so I can run a center console, the dash should be the same.

I was talking about that had a brain haze there...yes I appreciate it very much that's what i thought...thank you.
