Would anyone know what a Monte/ Malibu/ El Camino console lid spring looks like, or where I could obtain one?

It's the actual spring that holds the lid open that I was missing. A fellow member (Gmachinz) and enthusiast sent me one a few days ago. It sort of got lost in mail, but arrived on my doorstep today.
Thanks for the link to the console lid. I will keep that in mind when and if I need a replacement.
BTW, it does look a lot better made than the OEM lid, which are made to fail.
It's a used lid that I repaired using the piano hinge trick. It works like a charm.. :wink: ..especially with the spring replaced.
