I popped the trim off expecting to find a dead 194 bulb only to find a fiber optic cable that i have no idea where the other end goes to find out why its not working.

So,nobody knows where it goes to get its light source?i cant be the only one with a console.guess i just gotta start ripping sh*t apart.

At the other end of the fiber optic cable is a bulb that is most likley burned out. Its been a long time since I took one apart ( I gutted my console years ago and modified it for a manual trans) but I'm thinking it should be somewhere under the ashtray if I'm not mistaken.

Decided to take it apart.popped the top of the console off and it was under it in front of the ash tray.its also the ash tray light.
