not hard at all...most fan set ups mount directy onto the radiator with a few zip ties. However, wiring it up can be a little more difficult. You can find the kit, from AZ or Advance, and get the one with the adjustable temp probe that will turn the fan on and off at the temps you choose. The downside to an E-fan set up is the risk of fan motor failure without warning which could be a real problem if it goes out in a mid summer traffic jam. The benefit is the slight horsepower gain which is temporarly lost on the stock fan, although that is debatable, but the better cooling in stop and go traffic is not. I kept my old fan in the trunk, just in case the electric fan ever goes out on me. Cheap E-fans can be noisy, but they dont run all the time, so its a wash. any questions, just ask away....prico1976 said:I will like to get rit off my fan clutch on my 3.8 v6 engine and installed eletric fan. how difficult is that to do?
