Although it is a very nice looking and has good performance specs, a 4 door car will never be a replacement for a GN and way off the mark as a GNX. Just my opinion. That being said i hope that vehicle makes it to the market just with a different name.

I agree with the more-door dilema, but then again, dodge brought the charger back in a 4dr only platform and sells pretty well... still haven't forgiven ma mopar for shaming a classic nameplate though......

going through the car and driver article, I read the line about the possibility of awd... I had actually seen one of the the newer regals the other day and thought: "a little wider, smoke grey or black, and awd would make that car sweet!

although I think that price would be a factor that would keep me from buying one new, I'd probably look for one a couple years down the road...

There was another topic about this a while back in the general discussion section, but I agree with CWPottenger - 4 door sedan with a bigger engine won't replace a classic, esp with the original Turbo Buicks. It's worked on other platforms and I hope it works out for Buick, but I'll pass....I'd still take my 85 rattle can POS! lol

nope not doin it for me

the Riviera concept was nicer and they suddenly cancelled it after making a bunch of noise. This car look lame w 4 doors. It doesn't look like a 'GNX'

I would agree with all of you on the 4 door things. It just wouldnt be the same. on a slightly different topic. Since all the Camaro guys are swapping to the ls series v8s a swap for that new GM tt v6 in a gn or a cloned one would be pretty sweet

I think the car needs to be 2 door and with a sexy body design of the old gn and gnx. Pretty much it needs to be a spot on replica of the original but i think gm doesnt believe in that to much. This would be nice to bring it back to the glory days.
