could someone explain this to me

all right what i would like to know is what exactly is the difference from a tappet cam and a roller cam i know the roller cam is the better thing to find but what really makes it better besides not having to worrying about cam break in and the zinc additives the the flat tappet needs i just want to know all there major differences
