there is allot of after market companies for the g body car involved in circle track racing. it seems everything is WAY cheaper, from shocks to tubular a arms($51.00 per arm with a ball joint) all these cars are known as metric chassis and there seems to be more after market options through the circle track world. i just discovered this because my uncle has a custom race car fab. shop. i recently went there for my whole front end of my car, and it was way cheaper to run circle track stuff, which is the same as the the street stuff that you would get through summit and jegs.

If I recall from my days of dirt track, the racing stuff is not certified safety wise for street use. As long as it is the same part number you should be okay. Things like tubular A-arms have not gone through enough street testing to be sold to the public at large. If you crash on the street, someone is going to get sued. If you crash at the track, it's tough luck.

I am not afraid to run that stuff but you should be extra careful and inspect it often.

I agree. Most of the suspension and brake hardware is not tested with heavy bumps and potholes in mind. It may very well be fine, but I would be sure it is well constructed before I put it to use in a driver or a car I intended to sell. After all, in our litigious society, if you sell someone a car you build and it breaks, you may be as liable as a manufacturer should some lawyer get a hold of it.
