Hey guys, I'm just curious has any one on here put a cummins in a gbody? Or know if it's even possible to fit in? Sounds like it would be a fun time! And would really turn the tires!

If you have enough money you could definitely do it. A nice built 4bt would fit in there nicely and make for a badass torque monster that would probably net you around 35mpg. You'll definitely need to do some modifications to the front end though, as even the 4 cylinder version weighs quite a lot. You would definitely need stiffer springs, maybe some bigger rotors. Steering components would need to be considered, basically all the stuff you would need if you wanted to stuff a big block in there. You'll have to fab up some motor mounts and definitely a transmission crossmember. You'd also have to find a trans that would volt up thetthe Cummins bellhousing, there are plenty of adapters out there though, so you'll have to reasearch that. Total cost would probably be around 3 grand.

ive seen somewhere on youtube, a GN with a cummins. not sure how true it was.
