Cutlass 79 questions!

Hi! I have 79 cutlass, i wanna know does 81 and youngers (cutlass etc) gauge panel/cluster fit on my model? Because i have now stock "circle" gauges and im bored of these and i want different, long speedometer with horizontical needle, whats that called for? How about b&m or other make consol shift, which one fits inside on cutlass original shifter hole? Thanks for answers and apologize for bad langue and text. Im from finland and use web with phone 🙂

So you have rallye gauge and want to switch to full sweep (granny pac)? either way, i'm about 90% sure any cluster from a 80's cutlass/442/HO will swap in place. theyre physically the same size but i'm not sure about the wiring. i've been told that B&M console shifters for 80's camaros and firebirds will fit in a cutlass console with marginal cutting. what would be REALLY cool is to find a hurst dual gate shifter set up and use that. i assume you have a 3 speed transmission?

I kept the granny pack, built the tach into the dash and got a pod for the oil and temp. Don't think I would switch from a rally tho. You have to switch wires to do it.

umm i do not understand well, sorry im from finland 😀 wires are different but otherwise it fits ? I have tachometer on dash too. Are wire plugs different too? Or what is the problem? I have 4speed (200r4) and single/straigh shifter now, no side holes etc just straigh line

You're probably the first person on the planet that has wanted to swap the rallye gauge cluster for a sweeping speedo.

Since this is for the sweeping style to rallye style, just reverse the directions for your needs.

Judging by the fact that he's in Finland, where they use KPH, and 120 MPH speedos are '87 442 only, I'd lean towards no...
