What's different about the cutlass fan shroud compared to the Malibu? Malibu seems to be one piece completely made of plastic. Cutlass seems to have a plastic piece and a steel plate at the top for the radiator. Is the location of the hole for the fan also at a slightly different height?

I have a 2 piece with out the metal plate I got new from GM, I believe it is from a Monte......

mmmmmm plastic 2-piece on my malibu original 305 car

You guys are right. I guess I mean 3 piece as compared to a two piece. Malibu- Monte two plastice pieces.......upper and lower riveted or bolted together. Cutlass has the same thing in addition to a steel plate for the radiator. My question is the opening for the fan higher in the cutlass? I have a malibu fan shroud and the fan hits the top of it. I have a pontiac 400 installed with 301 motor mounts. Can't find a V8 grand prix or lemans shroud. But I can get an olds V8 shroud. I need about 3/4 of an inch. Is there a difference that anyone knows about?
