I found a pair of Cutlass fender well to fender filler braces. Not sure of the real name. Found out I was sold 2 rs/passenger sides and no drivers side. I mostly wanted them on as a fender reinforcement. What are these actually called and other than vibration do these actually do anything

#88. Fenderwell extension. GM p/n 22507958 for RH (pass) and 22507959 for LH (driver). They complete the inner wheel well and act kind of like a front side splash shield as well to help keep water from splooshing up through the front of the wheel well when you hit a puddle. The front of the big wheel well piece is basically the floor for the battery or carbon canister, and the extension bolts to it. There's also a little piece (#96) GM p/n 22514385 (original number 22508013) , that is a filler plug that goes in the unused hole where the battery retainer hooks to the inner wheel well. You'll find it on most big cars and such as well in junkyards if you're lucky. Another hole plug really. Many times these go on vacation and you never see them again.

Thank you for the description. And the breakdown. My car never had them on it and I noticed there was no brace like my monte carlo had so I started looking for what might be missing. I put one on and it looks odd. I don't think I've ever seen a Cutlass with it intact lol

I wonder if the seller even realizes that he's stuck with two left panels in his inventory...
