Im in need of some cutlass expertise again, i need to know if the front filler panel on and 87-88 cutlass is the same/ interchangeable with the older style 86 back filler panel.

No, the front and rear are in no way the same. The front is the same within the same header panel family(81-86, 87-88 ), the rear is the same from 81-88.
I think he may have meant '86 and prior when he said "86 back".
But anyways, 85 cutlass brougham is correct with his listing of the covers.

okay thanks so i guess i better look for a 87-88 filler panel, does any one know where i can get one?
okay im gonna convert my lights to fit the euro header panel. Does anyone know what cars had the same headlight harness as the 87-88 cutlasses that i can swap on to my sealed beam style harness?
