In my 84 Cutlass(which was a Hurst from the factory), I swapped out the stock column for a Flaming River chrome column. Im going with the Flaming River push start sometime soon. My question is about the ignition switch. The wires on the switch are pink, red, purple and brown. I got the ignition wired to a Toyota Camry ignition(key and tumbler) using the red, pink and purple but cant figure out for the life of me what this brown wire is for. Any suggestions??

I'm almost certain that's the accessory circuit.

Thanx, it is. Why is there 2? I had the orange accy wire connected, didnt think there would be 2. Now I have another dillema........The switch that the orange accy wire came off of, there is a red wire(12 v), there was the orange and there are 2 thinner gauge wires, green/yellow and tan/white........what do these go to?

I'm not sure why there are two, maybe for load purposes? I know that several circuits are activated in accessory, so maybe they decided to split it. As for the thinner guage wires, I'm not sure. It's been a long time since I've messed with ignition wires. Maybe someone else can add something useful.
