Ok so today i replaced the 2:41's with a posi 3:42 ratio. well Now it seems to be doggy still maybe even worse? I have a 350/350 set up probly about 350 hp with a 2500 stall. This thing still has trouble spinning the tire's off the line???? Whats up here guys 😢

Everything is New from motor to trans??

Man, thats weird. Those gears oughta make your car an animal compared to what it was...

When I swapped out my 2.41's for 3.73s even with my tired 350 it made it twice as quick! :? That doesn't make any sense! What type of stall converter do you have? What is it flashing at? That could make all the difference in the lowend.

Its a 2500 B&M Tork Master Yeah im stumped myself. I got a buddy coming saturday to help set the timing and the carb. I pulled the plugs today and it is running lean so we'll see if that helps. But yeah this thing should wast some tires but it isn't.

Yeah, thats weird! Sounds like your doing all of the right things, timing and the carb can play a big part of it. Without being tuned correctly a car can feel guttless. If your running on the lean side I'd go to some colder plugs. And make sure the timing is on.

Almost gotta be in the tuning. Or is the trans slipping that bad. That shouldn't be enough torque/HP to waste the trans, though. Was the trans OK b4 with this engine? Off the line should be great, especially with that stall. Does it have an external cooler for the trans also? Good idea if it doesn't. Gotta be in tune up or trans.

Did you say 47 degrees at 2000rpm? I'm surprised it even runs without blowing a hole in a piston.
