Dash color wiping off?

My dash has not been painted and is 100% stock. It is marron but like blackish at top cause faded from sun. I took some armorall to clean it and the color is wiping off it only in the sun affected areas. It now does it with just a wet paper towl. This happen to any one eles? thanks
 
i belive all dashed wer black from the factory and dyed the color then shiped to the assembly line and put in. looks like tis time to get some interior paint and re-do it. thats what i thik happens, so dont quote me.

The factory dashes are vaccum formed in color. And more than likely the dash in question has been re-dyed at some point in time. I have had to guy to local dealships and dye seats and door panels and dashes in cars and trucks that have just rolled off the transport truck. Believe it or not 99% of cars, and trucks have had some dye work on them before they even hit the sales lot.
 
I'm thinking it's breakdown of material due to the sun. If you keep wiping it, it'll likely stop transferring to the cloth eventually.

A guess, nothing more.

This is what I was thinking when I first read it.
 
i just keep wiping and wiping haha and keeps goin I am friends with original owner and from what she knows noting was ever done to dash
