Dash Cover/Pad

Hey guys just need to generate some opinions on these dash covers. I am wanting to put something on my dash that will suffice for a while. The current green dash is cracked in a few places on the top and I would love to cover that up. That being said I don't really want to do a dash "cap" because I personally don't think they look the best. If I were to do the cap I would rather take the time and put a whole new dash in, but that won't be happening anytime soon. So on to what seems to be my other option which is a dash pad, basically a carpeting that is formed to sit over the dash. So my questions are has anyone ordered or used either of the two listed below, or have any other recommendations on where to get one. Keep in mind my question is on the dash PAD, no i won't get a cap, no i won't paint my current one, and no I won't be swapping out anytime soon, that's on the list for future projects.

Again, anyone used either of these companies or have any other places to get them from?

Another note as to why I would prefer this option is due to cost. I can get into one of these for under 50 bucks, I would rather do that than the 150 for a dash cap and take my extra 100 and put it somewhere else on the car that needs it.

I was in the same boat. I had another complete dash that was mint. I left it outside like a dumb dumb dummy and it cracked oon top. I decided to fill the cracks so they wouldnt get any worse and picked up a carpet cover. Looks sweet for what it is and it was only $25 plus shipping...Let me find the guy I got mine from. My CC prez shot me the link. I wish I knew the brand of carpeting in my Elco was. Its contoured perfectly...
Here's a pic. Hope you dont mind me postin it bruh..I layed it out over the dash and let it sit for a week. Looks pretty clean and you cant tell where the cracks are...
