Has anyone used the plastic dash covers that glue on top
of your old one?.

I was wondering about the fit and how they look after
painting?.

I looked at a picture of one and it doesn't have cutouts for the speaker grills. It just covers them up. There are some holes in it for the sound to go through but you would never be able to remove the speaker grill if you ever wanted to since it would be covered up.

Click my signature link website below. That dash has a cover over it and I've had no issues. The only problem was the glove box opening and closing but that took about 15 min worth of light sanding the plastic until it cleared the door, then all was well.

Wow, I can't even tell it has one. Would it be possible to share some pictures closer up and around the edges of the dashpad?

Thanks! I see you are in NC, too. I am in Winston-Salem. Are you in the Army there at Fort Bragg?

Why Yes I am. Got back from Iraq about 3 weeks ago and have spent 2 of them putting in my 385 stroker engine...

This was the motor going in last week...

OK carmangary,
Here are the pics you requested. Please, please do not take notice of the dust and dirt on and in my dash. Remember, the car sat for 5 months while I was deployed, motor-less and I haven't yet even vacuumed the floor much less cleaned my interior.
Here they are.

The dash pad came from http://www.dixiemontecarlo.com The owner is named Mr. Pigg and he is NC like us. I like to give the local guy most of my business, he is a great guy who has always come through for me.

Thanks for posting those pictures. It looks good to me. I don't think the ones for the Cutlass go down past the glove box likes yours does so they might not be as nice. I need to look into it.

Thanks for the picture post. It looks great.
