Ziggy Stardust is gone. Truly one of a kind. I think my kids watched Labyrinth about a hundred times.

I was blown away when I saw the news this AM. I know he just released a new album...
what a loss. R.I.P. David Bowie.

Should have named the album Swan Song. I'm surprised we kept him this long.
As sad as the news is - Bonnewagon, that image is hysterical for those of us parents old enough to recall Labyrinth....

So it turns out the new album he just released was a farewell effort. That brings to mind what Warren Zevon and Joey Ramone did when they knew their time was up. Anybody watch the TV series "Life on Mars"? In one episode as Jason O'Mara was struggling to understand 1973 he says "It always comes back to Bowie- always" as "Is There Life on Mars" played in the background. I loved "The Man Who Fell to Earth" but the absolute best he ever did was the duet with Bing Crosby- "The Little Drummer Boy". I play this for my family every Christmas, and if you can watch this without tearing up you are made of stone.

Mark,
That duet was great. It was so well done. It does send shivers through me...

That duet with Bing really showed how talented he was, just too many people dying these days, RIP.
