Does anyone else enjoy collecting this stuff? I am on a quest in my boredom to find unique items from around the world that were previously not available in this country right now. I can get the normal stuff, but that is not as interesting as the really odd things. I just bought a pair of die cast East German Trabants, an original Trabant brochure, and was just looking at a Soviet die cast Lada on Ebay. I have been going on a bit of a Cold War kick lately, and yearning for the good old days when we knew who our enemies were, and they were over there, not here. I also have a pair of Soviet remote control toys from when relatives of mine were permitted to visit from the Soviet Union in the early 80's while I was just a child. They are a tracked military transport and a model of a lunar rover that never got put to use. Amazingly low quality, but very cool to have.

Anyhow, what do you collect?

Well, I have to find the Soviet toys I have first, and the Trabant stuff won't be here until next week.

i have a TON of 1/64 diecast tractors and also semi's fun to collect and don't take much space. Tired to get into camaro's too they are still near my heart ha

I have an *ss load of 1/18th scale diecasts. Probably 75 or so.

They're fun to take them apart and modify them, maybe I'll snap a few pictures of some of the cooler ones.

I'm still waiting for them to start making an '81-'87 Cutlass. I've got a Monte SS and two Buicks, but I sure would like an Olds.
