Anyone ever disassemble the seat rails completely? I'm doing a bit of derusting to the rails and want to get every little nook and cranny. Also would like to get complete coverage with primer and paint. Maybe clean up the rollers and replace those worn bearing inside.

Bottom rail used to look completely like the upper rails right side.

lol okay never mind

After looking at it I only had to grind away the little bump stops. There is one on one end of the rails and then another along with a solid rivet on the other end.

Just grid the little bump down smooth and it came right apart completely.

When I put it back together I will just pop a rivet in there to replace the grinded off rivet or place a bolt and nut there with some red loctite and it will be just as good if not better.
