Good afternoon guys.

I just received my new power-steering pulley from RockAuto.....I mistakenly ordered a dual-groove, instead of the single groove that is on my car. I could see where a single groove might not be a good replacement for a dual-groove, but does anyone foresee any problems in my using the dual groove in replacing the single groove?

No big deal to return it for the other one, I suppose, just would rather not fool with returning it if there is no reason...

Thanks in advance for your $0.02....

You'll have to install it to see but I doubt there will be any problems with using the dual groove. You'll just have one groove that doesn't get used.

not to highjack this thread or nothing, but i'm looking for a double groove power steering pump pulley for my olds 350 setup.Mine is bent to all hell and the junkyards are all snowed in.Anyone have a spare laying around?

I am using a double groove on my 350 and both grooves are being used. I am using the 307 water pump, crank and w.p. pulleys, and alt. bracket.

You can get them brand new from an autoparts store. Dorman part number 300-125. Cost around $27. In case you can't find one from someone else.
