Hey everybody.
Im putting a new floor into my 87 LS and i was wondering what would be the best way to take out the seat brakets. I was thinking of just drilling the welds n using a air hammer to do the rest. but i want to re-use them so i dont want them beaten to pulp.. any advice will help. Thanks in advance.

I used a spot weld cutter to drill them out.
x2, I use a hammer and chisel that is easier to control than an airchisel. I use a MAC gasket scraper as a chisel, its sharpened on one side so if it digs too deep you can flip it over and work out of the weld. You could drill all the way through if there's nothing under it that stays on the car.
