Ive swaped 305 TPI with TH700 in my Cutlass 1984 3.8v6 TH200c.
I need to shorten driveshaft can someone please tell me how much exact ?
is it 3" ??

I would like to use this crossmember:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-770301/?rtype=10

I have front and rear aluminium bumpers and im planing to use fiberglass hood and i have AC removed.

I would like to go with OPG 3" lowering springs all around.

Ive bought long time ago 2" crap lowering springs from Ebay when i jack up car rear spring is faling on the ground.

Is 3" OPG the same design i will need to use shorter shocks?

Also im wondering if i use 3" lowering springs on the back and front will front be on the same lavel or higher that rear with my setup?

Many Thanks

Places that shorten driveshafts will want a specific measurement usually from the end of the trans tailshaft housing to the edge of the pinion yoke with the rear loaded.
With a lowered car it is easiest to put the car on 4 ramps to give you room to measure or a drive on hoist if you have access,
I use 4 ramps all the time to work on mine.
There are too many variables to have a set amount to cut off, what works for one car might not work for another
it's best to do it right the first time.
And make sure it is a reputable local shop that will cut and rebalance it properly or you could have a new better and stronger one made by a reputable company (Denny's Driveshaft, DTS, etc.)
