Driveshaft question

So i have the 700r4 with the stock rear end. This is how far the yoke is sticking out with the driveshaft thats in the car now. By looking at the measurements should i have one thats 51.5 in the length from ujoint to ujoint

With weight on the car you should have 3/4 inch of travel(in and out), so yes 51.25 or 51.5

sure,you want about 3/4 of an inch sticking out.is that with the suspension loaded or the rear end hanging?
