Was thinking this might be a good alternative for my otherwise mostly stock, 305 equipped Cutlass. I like the fact that it will fit in the stock location and still allow dual exhaust. Guys are running them crossed in stock transverse location or with parallel duals, like in trucks. I listened to a few sound clips (although Dynomax doesn't have one on their own site) and it seems to fall in between a turbo muffler and a Flowmaster 40 -- which is exactly what I'm looking for. Not too quiet, not too loud. Any of you guys running them on any vehicle or maybe have a buddy who is/has? What's your honest opinion? Here's a link if you aren't familiar with this particular muffler:

I'd have to see proof that it even works. Looks like a gimick to me.

Traditional X-pipes work great but I don't know how well this setup would "scavenge" when you essentially have a bunch of holes drilled in the pipes inside the muffler.

how much are these mufflers running?

Summit lists them for around $125.

I was thinking of the packaging possibilities and the tone. In my case real performance gains aren't a concern. I guess the same goal could be achieved with 2 stacked glasspacks.

I've never had an issue just running dual mufflers. I've had 3" pipes and dual Dynomax Ultra-flo's and had them tucked up nice and tight.

My 3" pipes now with the Spintech mufflers are even tighter since the Spintech mufflers are so much smaller.

i use Hooker Aerochamber mufflers. i think they're the best sounding mufflers right now. my boss is gonna cut out his dynomax to put a set of aerochambers on his chevelle. just my two cents.
