im looking in to doing a E85 converstion on my carborated car, not going to say what car because it is off topic. i have asked in a few other forums with little reponse. i did do a search and could not find the answer i was after. im looking for a simple bare bones set up what fuel pump to run ( i need electric and was thinking the Holley Black pump) what kind of lines and filter to run ( im sure i need a differnt filter but would i need all new line or just replace the rubber lines and with what to replace them with). now the real kicker, the car has a quadrajet on it now does any one make a kit to convert to E85 or even alcohol (i assume if it will run alcohol it will run E85) and if not i also have a rachestor 4jet i could also do the same to. if all else fails i guess i could buy a new carb if i need to but i prefer not to.

thanks for the information it may take a while but i will do some reading and then post my findings.

I watched a TV show where they rebuilt a gas carb and converted it to E85. Not sure on all the details but more or less they replaced plastic pieces inside the carb to brass or copper ones. I'm pretty sure they put different jets and rods in too. Not anymore difficult than a carb rebuild if you have the right information to start off with.
