What size throttle stud is right for v8 cutlass? It is going into my dads cutlass. It was a factory v8 car. It now has 455 olds block with 4150 style carb and 200-4r trans.

Don't understand the question. Are you talking of the point where the throttle cable attaches to the carb?

Yup, I put a holley 20-36 on my 350 sbc in my cutlass. It is the extra long one for use with cruise control. My dad wants regular short style one. My 20-36 shows as 3/8" in size (not length). I know ours in not a ball type stud, but the other ones I see are 5/16", 1/4" and 7/32" so I was a little lost on which size could be right.

Yea though where the accelerator cable attaches at the carb.

Not sure size, but 3/8 seems a little too big. I just looked at the Holley 750 on my '67 Lemans and 3/8 looks bigger than what's on it. Looks more like 1/4 or 5/16. I think they sell throttle kits at AutoZone in the "performance" isle. It might be the Edelbrock brand, but it should work for the Holley also.

Yea thanks for help, I just went and pulled mine off and it is 1/4"
