eBay Scammer - Cutlass Tail Light Emblems

I emailed him and asked if they were NOS Tail Light Emblems from GM.

Got them today and all they are is cut up horn pad emblems from the standard non-sport steering wheel that comes in Cutlass base models, save yourself the $90-$100 after tax and shipping....

The guy also charged me 10% sales tax when his ad states 7% and also charges out of state sales tax which is fraud in Illinois to do.

I wouldn't have cared if the seller hadn't told me that they were NOS GM Tail Light Emblems when I asked him that.
I see now his auction states Replacement tail light emblems, which wasn't the case when I bought them.
It's still a good idea to use horn emblems as replacements but they are different than the originals, the rocket is smaller and there is a large gap on the top and bottom sitting in the bezel.
Also, the ones he sent to me were crooked and off-center... and they didn't look like the ones pictured.

They're not technically NOS anymore since I put them on my car, but we might have to work out that deal we talked about a while ago for the MINT '86-'88 taillights that are on my 442 in exchange for those '84-'85 lights you mentioned...

another thing to consider regarding g-body parts:

%99.99 of 85-87 NOS 442 center caps I've seen on ebay over the past 3 years ARE NOT NOS! People are buying the repro rocket SSIII center caps and using the repro 442 glossy overlays--they are not NOS. Annoying when I see that.

I have an NOS LH and a nice RH that should look great once buffed.
Yeah, this guy is really mad at me now... screw that, I would have just kept my mouth shut but I don't want to see anyone spend all sorts of money on something that doesn't fit right and you can make them yourself. He says theyre replacements but they don't fit right and look out of place...
There is an ugly recess on top and bottom that isn't pictured in the auction and a gap on the side, honestly these look like sh*t installed.
