Replaced all the e brake lines on the car today as the old ones were non existant. When trying it I can push the e brake lever freely but it doesnt catch, just springs back up.

Anyone else have this problem, I didnt look to much in the car, I can only imagine theres a plastic catch or something thats broke off?

are you talking about the pedal on the left side? well theres a handle that you pull to relese it right above where the hood popper is and it might be caught on something or the spring for the catch has broke or just came unhooked. the hardest part about doing it is gonna be getting in there so you can see.

Yep the one on the left side. The release pulls out and springs back in. The pedal itself I can push down and it springs back up, doesnt make any clicks, or catch on anything.

follow the relese cable to the pedal and itll goto the catch, then it might be stuck or the spring might be gone.

alright thanks, i'll check it out tommorow when im back working on it.
