This is more of a trivial question than actually wanting to use one.

If the EGR valve mounted to the intake on the top side gets its exhaust from the center of both cylinder heads... what is the two ports on the intake that sit directly in btween the exhaust port and intake port, it looks to be sealed off by the intake gasket and serves no purpose.

Sounds plausable... the same holes in my ZZ4 intake as well, i guess its cast in every GM cast iron and aluminum intakes.
