Now that my mini rant is over, I'd like to take a minute to let everyone know where I've been getting my parts to repair my 85 SS. As I stated, I met this gentleman down at the Raceway Park swap meet and have been going to him ever since. He's a member on here as well. His name is Steve, known as the El Camino Kid. Very fair and competitive prices for real genuine GM parts. He doesn't utilize aftermarket. He has a ton of parts considering he has a ton of cars. Mainly any G-body part you need, he has it. And for me, it's easier and more convenient to buy locally and be able to see the parts I'm purchasing. As of now, I've purchased a front fascia, headlights, NONCRACKED dashboard, power window harness with switches, a WORKING 200r4 transmission and a ton of interior parts and have not broken the bank. Nicest guy you'd ever want to meet too. So much so that I now consider him a friend rather than someone just selling some parts to me. If you're local on the East Coast, he's the way to go. When I'm out of work tonight or tomorrow I'll upload a picture of his lot and his card with his number as well. I HIGHLY recommend him for any parts needed or wanted. Thank you Steve, for everything.
