I’m not sure about the specifics on the Cutlass clip swap but I just finished a Monte Carlo clip and door swap on my 83 El Camino and can give you some things to look at.
As far as the dash, physically it should be a bolt in swap but some of the AC/Heater ducting from the Cutlass may also need to be changed. There is also a good chance that some of the wiring especially for the gauge cluster may need to be changed around especially if you are going from the long style speedometer to the round one (the
Malibu Racing web site has some good wiring diagrams on doing the conversion but you may have to dig up the Cutlass diagrams from somewhere).
The big thing on the sheetmetal swap you need to look at are where the body lines on the doors match up to the rear body lines of the El Camino. Chances are that the El Camino Body lines will need to be adjusted to make the truck look right. On my swap I had to have the lower body line between door and front of the rear tire lowered, the body line under the quarter window “softened” and the body line behind the rear tire eliminated.
On the Monte swap I also had to extend the front frame horns but I think that is only required with the Monte nose.
You have to use the El Camino glass in the Cutlass doors and will probably have to modify where the rear rub block for the glass goes.
Depending on the style front bumper on the Cutlass you might also want to consider getting rid of the chrome rear bumper on the El Camino for something that flows better with the style of the Cutlass nose.
There is a thread I did on my build that might give you an idea about what you will be getting into on this.

If you could post a side view of the cutlass body and a picture of the El Camino dash you have and the Cutlass dash I could give you some more specific answers.
