I have a stock non elctric 78 Malibu, and i want to convert so power doors and electric windows. Has anyone done this to there G-Body, and have any tips?

I also came across a couple 2dr G-Bodies at junk yard, does anyone know what i would have to take?

Well, you need several things. They are as follows: Both door wiring harnesses ( and their attached boots), the power windows/locks harness from behind the dash ( remove dash to get to it), the relays in the passenger's side kick panel with any brackets, window motors and regulators,2 lock actuators, 2 power lock switches and the 2 window switches. You will also need the circuit breaker for the fuse box and the proper linkage rod and retaining clips for the lock actuators.

For the record, I swapped the doors from 2 other cars onto mine and added the power locks at that time. My car had power windows factory, but I had to switch all of the wiring under the dash to make them work, so I have done it. The door harnesses are a 2 part affair, btw, with the window harness being taped to the rubber dust boot from the factory and the lock harness going through but not attached to the boot.
