Electric fan options

so im looking at getting electric fans to mount on my afco aluminum rad.

the issue is i don't want to spend 130 bucks on something so simple if there is a suitable junkyard solution. the u pull it around here has duel electric fans and shroud for about 45 bucks. let me know if anyone else has done a junkyard e-fan upgraded it would be greatly appreciated

I'm looking for the same thing. Although I see now that AFCO now offers radiator shrouds/electric fans with their radiators. When I purchased mine, they didn't. Although I am sure it's not going to be cheap, I'm calling them up on monday to try and purchase a dual fan setup with shroud that fits perfectly on my radiator. Can't stand stuff that doesnt fit right...

Depending on the width of the core many people use the Intrepid dual fan set up and I believe it fits a 26" core.
I have this on my BBC in my Monte attached to my Griffen radiator.
You can't beat the price for a new set up and they work well.

You could always check out ebay. They have a lot of good prices on there. Im running 2 Derale 16" fans in a pusher/puller setup and it keeps my all iron 496 warm sitting still in the garage.

I used fans from 2004 Alero/Grand AM (I think that was the year)
I run 1 fan with toggle switch & other fan to a temp sender
