OK I bought an 84 GP . The seller swears up and down it has a 350. I checked the vin because the motor looks stock. That came up 305. Is there any way to tell without being a conortionist just what the motor is?

well what they told me and what i ended up doing was take off the driver side valve cover and with a flash light and a stiff bristle brush clean off the block behind the head and you see some #'s. write down thos #'s and look them up on the inner-net and youll get yer answer. and while you have the valve cover off, write down the numbers on there too. thats what i did and i found out my 80' 350 out of a suburban was a 1971 307 out of a camaro. hope this helps.
