Exhaust kit

Good morning! I am going to purchase a universal exhaust kit today for my 1980 3.8 regal and I am looking for some suggestions on which setup to go for. I am looking for a deeper sound, I know it's just a v6 but there's gotta be something out there that'll make her sound a little better. I'm on a budget and I appreciate your recommendations in advance! Enjoy the beautiful morning 🌄

3" single pipe with no cat and a Borla Pro XS sounds really good

A V6 will never sound good IMHO. Go with large body Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers to cover the V6 sound. My V6 Challenger will keep its stock exhaust for the same reason, the aftermarket systems sound awful. The only parts that might get changed are the head pipes, factory V6 cats are restrictive and a better X pipe. Of course it's true dual X pipe exhaust system is part of the reason it makes 305 HP. Remember, it will always sound like a V6, quieter with better flow is the way to go.
