hey everyone working on puttingmy olds 350 in my cutlass and need a plan but need some help with exhaust. i plan on going with no cats and original manifold which i have already eliminated the crossover pipe. i am planningon running two straight pipes past the rear end like original and wanted to have a single muffler behind the rear end parallel to the rear end. the muffler i was looking at as a possiblility was the link below but am not sure which pipes are inlets and outlets. the setup would work if there is an inlet and outlet on each side so the drivers side pipe will go pastthe rear end and then go thru the muffler and exit at the passenger side and vice versa. not sure if anyone is familar with the layout of this muffler or another that may meet my needs. Also imput on what will sound good with my setup (going for not too loud but the right tone with the stock manifolds like i mentioned i haven't heard the engine yet with no exhaust so not sure how loud it is now compared to headers)

thanks guys

I used a muffler similar to that years ago on my old Monza (Because of space and how I had the exhaust routed I needed a duel inlet/outlet muffler like that). I don't know what kind it was, but it was some kind of upgrade muffler for a late 90s chevy truck. Was a straight through design (like a glass pack), and it fit (on the Monza) in the factory muffler spot. So something like that should fit in our cars factory spot. Just go to a good exhaust shop, tell them what you want and they should be able to find something for you.
