straight pipes
or
a full exhaust system

im going with duals
but i dont know which i should go with

i know the straight pipes are illegal ill deal with that part
im just wondering which might sound better
which would i get more horsepower out of

i just want everyones opinion

tell me what your think give me some advice

with the kind of car you have like mine cops are not gonna pay that much attn to str8's. just get some flowmasters (or cheap cherry bombs like me  ) and have them put in the pipes as far back as you can. have it welded up completely and wham there you go.

side note: flowmasters (or C Bombs) sound better that straights because they let the exaust reverberate when the engine winds down after a rev. this sounds cool. watch some vids on youtube to get a feel for the diffs in the sound.

Not sure if you want noise or performance, so check out this link for some direction. It's a little dated but most of the mufflers tested are still around. Noise does not allways equal power as these test show. I like the Walker Dynomax system because it flows the best and does not have that irritating harsh exhaust sound that attracts cops and irritates neighbors, more like a classic GTO rumble, if you know what I mean. http://www.pontiacstreetperformance.com/psp/exhaust.html
