Has anyone ever built a really extreme custom Cutlass like along the lines of the "Eleanor" Mustang from Gone in 60 Seconds? I was just sitting here with my girl friend watching that movie and all of a sudden my brain started wracking away on tearing apart and rebuilding a totally custom extreme Cutlass.

Over the next few days I may try drawing something up or creating a composite in photoshop. However one thing is I think it would require the 78-79 single headlight setup.

lol, my 'extreme' fiberglass header panel turned out to be extreme trash. So much for a body kit. In my opinion, the FE3x is the top when it comes to G body - body kits.

Fiberglass is harder to work with than it looks 🙁

...If you can do some good photoshop, I've got a favor for you that might help out your want of extremeness. It's an idea of a header panel and I'd like to see how it looks before jumping first feet into it. PM me if you can

Kind of in the process of doing that now. Started with a nearly mint 1985 Oldsmobile 442, put in a 383 SBC, working on installing the Vortech Supercharger now (easy fit). Car has brand new GM A/C. Trans is a TH200-4R, rebuilt to take a severe beating and provide neck snapping shifts. Rear is the 8.5" 3.73, soon to be ever lower gears.

As far appearance, I decided to do a modified, more updated 442 paint scheme. The top of the car will still be black, but all NOS Grand National parts will help black it out. The bottom gray will be a deeper, more metallic charcoal--similiar to the color of Eleanor. And I'm adding a Hurst/Aero kit that I purchased new in the box a few years ago.

Not sure about the header panel mods yet.

For wheels I was thinking of Simmons 17" FR series with black centers of Gotti 16"'s used on the FE3X.

Nice Brick I can't wait until we can see some pics of the project. I keep going back and forth between building an all out custom like that or just going with my original plans.
