This isn't really off topic as it's related to G-bodies, but I was wondering if anyone on here has seen or heard from Angelo Valenti in the past 6 years or so. Was wondering if he was still around and if he still has his cars. He goes by darthvaderolds on here...

He randomly posts on Facebook but haven't seen anything in a couple months. I did see a Motor Trend article on the FE3X last night though on there that showed the original car in the 80's and explained about it that made me think of his car.

I thought 88hurstolds was over at his place with his white 85 he restored and they both were working on it as I understand. I know he had a bout of some health issues several years back. I hope he's ok.

I got word that Angelo posted a coupla days ago on FB. I could text 88hurstolds and ask. I haven't talked to him in a while.

Really, it was just curiosity as we used to be kind of a tight knit Olds Gbod community.

Mike R.,
Is Mark Tupper still doing the OldsGmail mailing list?

I know the website is still available, along with some good information. I don't know if the OldsGmail list itself is still going. I haven't subscribed in a long time. I think Doug Newman's been keeping up with updating the site with seasonal themes and such.

I just realized that was formed over 20+ years ago! I recall the Oldsmobile mailing list and we sorta just ventured out on our own because at the time, G-body discussions were a small, but growing, splinter group of the OML, and the amount of emails was tremendous when co-mingled. It made sense at the time. I know some folks here wouldn't have a clue about a mailing list, but it was a crude beginning of what we know of as forums now. It was commonplace in the mid 90s.
