Well Fed Up did their magic again with a scheduled delivery for today. Had my Summit order go from the Tallmadge store to outside of Columbus, to Fairview Twp, Pa (about 45 minutes west from my house) to roll past my house on US 422 to Lewisberry, Pa (4 hours east)! Now it's rescheduled for tomorrow as it was listed as left Lewisberry to god knows where. Where is the logic in doing it this way? They should of sent it with the USPS & it would of been here today.

That's Logistics!!!!

Even though I have been blessed with a Fed Up driver that is actually good at his job, overall they suck. Now I just got an email that they want me to redirect my packages to a local Walgreens and for me to go get it. So they get to save time and money to do a dump drop at a store, and everyone needs to go travel and wait on a line to get their stuff? Please.

No way would I agree to this, unless they reimburse you some shipping charges. WORTHLESS

Don't know if it's true, but I was told that since volume is up, if they have a large excess for a location they put it on a truck with less and keep it moving.

This was bad over Christmas, but you'd think it slowed down by now.

Been there! Not with Fed Ex but UPS. I tracked one of my packages all over the country. It was only coming from 2 states away. It took 4 weeks to arrive after they shipped it. Gratefully I’ve had no problems with Summit/FedEx. If its in the Tallmadge warehouse I always have it the next day.

Fedex had HUGE delays when the winter storm hit half the country... They had the bright idea to hold over 1,000,000 packages at their hub in memphis... It took over 6 weeks to clear the backlog... Because when they could actual deliver again the 3 days of backlog across the country put a strain on it, then the million packages on their dock just sat there... I had an item trapped there for over 3 weeks... And it was sent a month after the winter storm.

But the rona is to blame for any issue and should be no longer an issue of any kind once the rona is sited.

I digress.

As a retireded USPS carrier I can tell you that they all like to play musical chairs with big loads of work. No one wants to get stuck paying overtime to work mail when someone else has low volume. So before they authorize OT they send truckloads to another facility that has "nothing to do". Then they get it, and don't want to use OT either, and off it goes to the next facility. But you get managers that are vying for a bonus and they will send work all over to "keep their numbers down". Eventually, someone works the mail and you get it delivered.

It did make it to me today. Last Fed Up location in Ducansville, Pa (an hour east of me) then at the house by 1:30. I really wonder how much that free shipping cost from all that traveling it took.
