Fender well Headers

I am curious why you would want fender well headers in a Gbody since I typically see them in cars with shock towers where there is no room for a standard style header which is not the case for a Gbody .
I would assume you want to run some sort of exhaust system beyond the headers even if it was a drag only car you would probably still need mufflers to meet the dB requirements many tracks impose nowadays and exhaust would fit far better if it is in the standard location instead of the routing nightmare fender wells would create.
If you are just looking for a large race header Lemons Headers can make a standard style header up to a 2-1/4" primary and 4" collector for a SBC in a Gbody.
