i was browsing the internet and found this website www.usbody.com they carry fiberglass fenders, hoods, and trunk lids for my car i was just wondering how much weight these part would shed off my 80 monte if i got all of them their prices arent to bad neither

i wouldn't recomend them. i bought a hood from them last year and it arrived broken. i kept getting the runaround from both the shipper and USBody. what it came down to was it wasn't adequatly packaged so niether one wanted to claim responsibility. besides being broken it wasnt exactly the quality that i expected. although it is better than what i have seen.

my recomendations:
http://www.vfnfiberglass.com/site.htm
http://www.glasstek.com/

i have heard good things about both, although have not done buisness with either

i was lokiing more toward the fenders and trunklid also i couldnt find anyof those for a 78 to 80 on those websites just the hood does anyone make a flip foward complete front clip for a 78 to 80 monte arlo

USBody is the only company that makes fenders as far as i know. I have not run across any complete front clips. My 78 came from the factory with an aluminum trunk lid. I have also found a few more at the local u-pull-it so I know that they are out there for a minimal price. Stock trunk lids usually go for $35.

if you are thinking about going with USBody read this

im not sure if the fenders would be worth more than 50lbs anyways

i bought a hood off them for my mustang its a 68 they sent me one for a fox body and wouldnt take it back.told me it was my fault said i ordered that one. i ebayed it for half just to get it out of my garage. the hood looked cheaply made and already had a bow in it.id only buy from harwood and other big brands.
