Fiber glass fix on the front lip

A previous owner of my monte carlo must have hit a curb or something and cracked the front lip.

I decided to fiber glass the broken chunk and so far its going good. Im waiting for the resin to cure now. then sanding and painting. just thought i post a couple pics.

Good job, I had to do the same to my ss spoiler. showed up to buy a spoiler for 60 bucks it was cracked so I offeredo the dude twenty.fixed it with a tube of fiberglass repair. Total for my spoiler was 26 bucks lol a steal.

i have 2 of these(spoiler) for sale,i HATE how they look. the glass fix is comming out good :wink:

I would have gone with a plastic epoxy the fiberglass on a plastic piece that was designed to flex will most likely crack.

i gave that some thought. but i already had a bunch of fiber glass supplies laying around from building sub woofer boxes so i decided to go that route. and if it cracks i can always do it again lol.

i plan on doing the same thing to my spoiler too. there is a chunk broken off as well.

Those factory rear spoilers always have stress cracks right where yours is broken, I have had a few that were cracked there but they didn't break off.
