Filler panel?

I just took the vinyl top off my car and I wanted to know whats the difference between the vinyl top car filler panel and non vinyl top car filler panel?

I believe the NON-Vinyl top valance panel is more narrow to compensate for the two rows of trim from what I could see on my 84 Calais when I had it. I've never picked apart a vinyl roof so I couldn't confirm but from what I've heard the hardtop valance panel is wider.
Post a picture of your valance panel if you can, I'm curious as to what it looks like.

I took off the vinyl roof on my 86' Cutlass, there was standard chrome window trim under it, I just cleaned off all the ugly green glue. So, I have reason to believe there is no difference in the filler panel.
