Hi I am finally old enough to start looking for my own car and im looking for a g-body Monte Carlo . Unfortunately I haven't had much experience with cars or what to look for when buying one, especially an older one. rust under the doors, rust on the back frame where the bumper bolts up. see how the frame looks, it look like it was used for towing ask them what they used it to tow.

Price seems suspiciously low for a monte w/ no body damage. Expect engine / trans problem of some kind and go on a long test drive. If guy tries to run super short test drive he's hiding something.

It depends that car dosent have the most curb appeal. Its priced to sell mabey if it was left stock and had some decent paint he woulda sold it for 2500 or 3000.

Oh, the hitch. The only i used that for was for hauling *ss.

Check the rear frame rails and floor pans, and as previously posted, the lower inside portion of the doors. That seems like a hell of a deal and it doesn't look bad at all. I would get rid of that push guard.. 8)
