Hello all,
Recently got back into the older rides after being priced out for a few years. Picked up a 1980 El Camino, has a 355,headers
roller cam and best of all a factory 4 speed. Body not the greatest but the thing runs real strong. In the past I've had several
78-87 Elky's and an 78 Malibus. Also I've had 9 Corvettes, Nova's, Impalas, 442's. A whole lot of stuff back to 1964. Always seem to have enough money to buy something but never enough to hang on to it. Marriage, house, kids, divorce etc, etc. LOL
Hope to hang on to this one till the end. I'm in Wisconsin. This a great site and look forward to all the good info. Thanks

dicks80elky,

Welcome to the site! I've found the people here great with help, humor, and someone to just talk to if need be.
You've been into cars since 1964, I been into cars since 1962. You've got a 1980 Elky with the factory manual trans., I've got a 1980 Elky with the factory manual trans. Your Elky's body needs attention, mine too. You can drive yours and it runs strong, mine is in my shop ready for a major rebuild. Hope you enjoy it here!

Doug

Welcome... Post pictures when you have a chance

welcome, glad to have you aboard, like everyone else has already said this is a great forum with lots of info and good helpful people. post pics of that elky, wouldnt mind pictures of your other rides either.

Thanks for all the welcomes. As soon as I can figure out how to post pics I will. Also I've got my interior ripped out and
redoing the floor. Work is slow because I do dialysis 3 days a week and don't have much get up and go. But by spring
hopefully will be done.
