Im going to try and fix my dash thinking of useing bondo with the fiberglass in it to fix the cracks then sand/ruff up the dash and use contact cement and the fiberglassing the dash. Is this the right way of going at it got the info on some of the forms?

I tried bondo and glass (underneath) on the plastic upper dash panel on my 80 regal. Lasted a couple of weeks before cracks appeared. Bondo and glass was just too rigid. There are proper dash repair kits out there that produce a more flexible repair; however I have never used them. Here is one from Eastwood

If that could fix a vinyl dash that would be great. Any one tried this?
